We've got about 70 days until KSU. If you have yet to make your motel reservations, I suggest that you do so, toot sweet. Big Bend fills up quickly in March. If you miss out, the Big Bend Motor Inn has a campground and you pitch a tent, just be aware that the showers are not included in the price.

 

Now's the time to begin thinking about getting your bike ready for the road. Nothings harder on them than sitting. Engine oil, tires and batteries are good places to start.

 

Get your riding gear out to ensure that it's in good shape and still fits. Some of those things tend to shrink after not being worn for a while, or so I've been told. Don't forget your rain gear. It doesn't always rain on this trip, but when it does it sucks.
