Page One We had a great turnout from Texas 21 members for the Rio Grande Conference Annual Meeting in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It was a great trip up and back, with a day trip on Saturday, to Branson, Missouri for lunch. Riding through the Ouachita Mountains and the Ozarks can take your breath away. We had the privilege of having Chuck, Wild Bill, Tar, and their wives make the trip up with us from TX 2 and TX 12. We got to visit with and get to know better, our Brothers and Sisters from Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Canada, & Ohio. And I probably left some states out. If there is anyway you can make next years Annual RGC, you need to make sure you do! On our way from Mena, AR to Eureka Springs, we were treated to a homemade meal of fresh fried catfish, and crappie with all the trimmings, by Deputy Leonard James in Havana, AR. Seems he has had a lot of really good luck fishing lately and needed some help eating all of it. Our many thanks and appreciation go out to Leonard and his family. Of course boys will be boys and where there are police officers there are always guns to be sold and swapped. So none of us could hardly keep our hands off of the goods! There are a lot of pictures here, but as always, if anyone has any that you want to add to our gallery just email them to Blue Knights TX XXI Webmaster Click on picture to enlarge |
