5th Annual Ruckus on the River

It's that time of year again to mark you calendar and get that much needed time off from work!  This year's Ruckus will be even bigger and better than last year.  We will be returning to the site of the 4th Ruckus held at the beautiful Riverside Resort, just minutes from Canyon Lake, TX, near New Braunfels.

I spoke with the owner of Riverside Resort, Kathy, and she is really looking forward to hosting the 5th Annual Ruckus on the River. They are really rolling out the red carpet for us this year. Some changes that you will notice for this year.

We will have exclusive use of the fully equipped clubhouse and pavilion next to the swimming pool. The clubhouse has a full kitchen, tables and chairs, big screen TV, and did I mention air conditioning? Meals served in the A/C , WOW we've come a long ways from the 12 people that camped along the river 5 years ago! I can hear the dominos slamming now!

Kathy has blocked off ALL of her cabins and 10 RV sites for us. Just tell her you are with the Blue Knights and she will take care of you. 

The Ruckus is a fantastic recruiting tool for your club! Invite any prospective Blue Knights and their families and join us for the PARTY OF THE YEAR!     TX XXI STYLE!!!     YEEEE HAAAAAWWWWW!!!!

 Costs:
Food/Drink - Before August 7th is $35.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids under 12
             After August 7th or at the event is $40.00 for adults, $25.00 for kids
             This is for food and drink only, (beer and soft drinks included) for the
             whole weekend.

Reservations - You must make all reservations yourself.  Just call Riverside Resort and talk to Mark or Kathy (the owners) and let them know you are with the Blue Knights. 830-964-3629 They are working to keep us all in the same area.  They have cabins, RV sites, and tent sites, just let them know what your needs are.  Check out their website to see photos and maps of the resort. www.riversideresort.net

River Float with Tubes - Tube rentals are $12.00 and they also have canoes, rafts, other types of flotation devices.  Everyone pays for their own at the outfitter.
