Ride Safe Proclamation |
On Tuesday, May 4th, The Blue Knights TX 21 along with the Gryphons, will make a presentation to the mayor of Waxahachie. This is a state wide program for Motorcycle Safety Awareness. And these are done all over the metroplex as well as all over the state. This event always has good press coverage and could even end up having television news coverage. We will be presenting a proclamation to the Mayor for Motorcycle Safety Awareness in Waxahachie and Ellis County. Waxahachie seems to have one of the largest turnouts for this and with the Blue Knights being the largest motorcycle club in 10 counties, we should have the largest in attendance at this event. We will meet at the square in front of the County Courthouse between 5:30 and 5:45 pm, the presentation of the proclamation will be at 6:00 pm. Following the proclamation we will adjourn to a local restaurant for dinner. I know this is a very hard time of day for many to make, but I hope anyone that has the ability to be there will make every effort to show up. There could be several different motorcycle clubs there and we definitely need to make our presence known.
