Tarrant County Child Protective Services Run
Volunteers Needed!

It is that time of year again!  The Tarrant County Child Protective Services Race is coming up at River Legacy Park in Arlington.  It is a 5K and 1 mile run/fun walk and we raise a lot of money each year with this event.  I am the co-chair and we always get everything set up for the race the day before, due to the race starting so early in the morning.  TX 21 has provided security the night before with a couple of officers for the race, for the past several years to prevent everything from being vandalized or stolen.

Date: September 5th - 6th (Friday into Saturday)
Times: 8:00pm thru 6:00am
Location: River Legacy Park, 711 N.W. Green Oaks, Arlington, TX
Needs:  Minimum of two officers, but the more the merrier!

Yes, this is an all nighter.  But if two or three (or even more is great) can volunteer together, it could turn into a full night of dominoes and good friends.  I will be working the event the next day, so I will be your relief.

I need to know as soon as possible if you can volunteer for this, so that I can check it off my long list of things to do for the race.

Thanks in advance for volunteering and for your help!  Click below to let me know.

I'll Volunteer!
