We had a great turnout for the 25th Ellis County Toy Run!  We had 27 bikes and half of those were two up which put us around 50 people in attendance for the Blue Knights!

I want to say a special thanks to the RGC's newest chapter, Chapter 43 out of Corsicana for joining us, and our Brothers in Athens, Chapter 28, for riding with us!  Then we also had some friends/supporters that are not Blue Knights members join in. A really great turnout for a pretty lousy weather day.

Just guestimating, I would say that there were in the neighborhood of 3,000 motorcycles in the parking lot at the Sokol Hall in Ennis.  All the toys, canned food, and cash go to help the underpriveleged children in Ellis county.

By the time most of us were ready to leave, the sun finally broke through and it started warming up and drying up.

I wanted to pass on to everyone that as Bling and I were leaving we had one of the Gryphon's come up and thank us for having the Blue Knights at the toy run.  We had a great turnout, and we seemed to have made a positive impression, which was one of our goals in attending.  My personal thanks to everyone for coming out and braving the weather!
